    Hi all,

I'm setting up a site where I'm suing ai1ec along with Mailpress. Mailpress automatically sends out email to subscribers for each post made on the blog. This works.

    Of course, ai1ec works perfectly.

My problem is getting the two to work together. Specifically, to get Mailpress to "see" the ai1ec events. Currently, no emails are send out about them.

Is there some way to "mask" the ai1ec events as regular posts or something else one can do?

I know the question relates to another plugin, but I *really* hope someone can help me anyways -- I haven't got a clue!

    Best,
    Rasmus

Look into Mailpress plugin and locate the function that pulls new posts. I guess it is looking for posts with post_type = post. Just extend it to ALSO look for posts with post_type = ai1ec_event

Thank you both -- I just received my first daily newsletter with an ai1ec event in it!

How have you configured MailPress to auto send when a new post/event is added?

    thanks

I haven't. I don't know if it's possible -- I don't think it was when I did the above. It would be nice to know if you get it solved!
