   I include the calendar page in my home page but events do not show up as in the page.
   I guess i should reset the filters or add the init() of the calendar class in the header, but i would be grateful if someone would point me the code...

   Not sure if this is what you mean, but in order to get the calendar to appear on your home page, you can use shortcodes: http://help.then.ly/customer/portal/articles/530440-what-shortcodes-are-available-

   I was aware of those shortcode but it seems they do not work when I try to include them in the page used as home page in my site.
   I guessed this was because the home page of my theme is fairly complex and has different loops before including the selected page and this makes the use of the shortcode go bump.
