• Hi Detective,
thx so much for the help yet.

The photos are not displayed. The code is like that at the moment:

    <li><?php aleph_the_user_avatar('<li class="user-avatar">', '</li>'); ?>

    Moreover I’m using as recommended:
    – Cimy User Extra fields
    – User Photos

…and before I had Gravatars but I switched it off. Before switching it off the Gravatars were displayed on the users.php

So what do I have to do to display the pictures?

  • Chris, you need to activate the extra plugin “Aleph – User Photo Support” that comes with Aleph.

Also, you need to upload photos into wp-content/uploads/userphoto/ and there must be a file named default_avatar.jpg in that folder.

    Hi Detective,

    thx for your answer.
The “Aleph-User Photo Support” was already activated.
I just uploaded a default avatar. It is still like before.
    Users page: No photos displayed
Profile page: Only the thumbnails under contacts are displayed

Also the default photes are not displayed.
    What now?

Did you turn off gravatars in WordPress’ options?

    Hi Detective,
thx a lot for your help.
I switched it of and it has an effect. I can see the photos now.

Just the default pictures don’t work.

That’s because you haven’t uploaded the file in http://www.c-salsa.com/wp-content/uploads/default_avatar.jpg. If you see your html code, that is the default image.
