[Plugin: Akismet] impossible to post comment for guests

    Yeah, I just reinstalled Akismet since ditching IntenseDebate.

    Came across the same issue – deactivated Akismet and guest commenting works as expected.

    Be nice to get some developer feedback on why this might be happening.

    What exactly is happening? Are guest comments being marked as spam? If you un-spam the comment then view the history for it, does it indicate that Akismet originally marked it as spam?

    its not marked as spam

    its not posted at all , the page reload itself after form validation, and nothing is posted.

    the last akismet update did not solve the problem

    i am now (sadly) using “nospamnx”, it works great…

    i don’t use intense debate or other comment plugin

    Do you have any other plugins that deal with user comments? I’ve been unable to reproduce this so far.
