ScyanideSo, I've had a simple blog for awhile but recently been updating it and re-theming it to get ready for my application's release. I never once had an issue with spam (figured I was lucky or just didn't have enough traffic for spam to bother with) but decided to install Akismet just to be safe.
It seems that I get spam "caught" by Akismet while enabled which I used to NEVER get before. If I disable it, I never see any spam posted in the comments. It seems as if Akismet is creating the spam or because I have it enabled I become a target for spam.
Anyone else have these issues or is this known and I just never got the memo?
