[Plugin: AJAXed WordPress] problem with lightbox2 immediately after activating AWP

i was hoping to get some help with lightbox. prior to installing AWP, i had Lightbox 2 plugin installed and running successfully. http://www.stimuli.ca/lightbox/

it requires adding rel=”lightbox” to the image a href tags. this was working perfectly. now after enabling AWP, when I click on my images , they just open in the browser as normal.. .without lightbox.

so I enabled the lightbox feature in AWP thinking it would solve the problem but still.. clicking on the images just opens them in the browser normally.

any help would be appreciated.
