    Hello-

    Installing this plugin seems to break or conflict with jquery on my custom theme? Any ideas?

    Here is the error I receive.

    Error: $ is not a function
    Source File: http://www.chechesseecreekclub.com/cms/wp-content/themes/chechessee/js/script.js
    Line: 33

    I register jquery using the WP recommented method

    `wp_deregister_script( 'jquery' );
    wp_register_script( 'jquery', 'http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.5.1/jquery.min.js');
    wp_enqueue_script( 'jquery' );`

    Hi Eran,

    I've gone through the motions in your response (Above - http://bit.ly/nDFZeD)

    I know the plugin is working as it's worked on my 2010 Theme.

    I've disabled every piece of Javascript apart from the http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/jquery.min.js script. and I'm still getting the problem where all I can see is the 'Add Event'.

    Can you take a look please?

    @ChrisSuttonSilver: these are the errors I see when I view your site

    "NetworkError: 404 Not Found - http://www.suttonsilver.co.uk/clients/sljld/wp-content/plugins/ajax-event-calendar/css/cat_colors.css?ver=0.9.8.6"

    Which likely means you are having this problem.

    AND your custom theme is throwing an error on line 8 because it's looking for a script that hasn't been loaded:
    $("a[rel^='prettyPhoto']").prettyPhoto is not a function
    [Break On This Error] theme: 'light_rounded'

    A new beta has been released for those interested in testing and confirming that it works see this post for details.
