  • I am having the same problems. I can no longer change, modify, or delete any event entries. You said to go back to the 1.0 version. What is the link to get there to undo what I have. I have version 1.0.1 and you mention that you have version 1.1. Are these 2 different versions? How do I go about down grading to 1.0 again? Is there a link or a site to go to?

Thank you so much for your help. I do our church website, and I need to keep the calendar of events current. Any help you can give is appreciated.

You can find the text menu ‘other versions’ at the sidebar menu of the following URL.

OK, my problem do I just copy the 1.0 version on top of the 1.0.1 version or is there a better way, I can’t lose my data already in working calendar.

One of my users is having this problem. He can’t add anything new or modify any events when he uses IE8 on his Windows XP laptop. It works fine on my MacBook Pro with Safari. It works ok on Firefox on his machine. Was working 2 weeks ago.

Given the numerous accounts of this issue, I tried several times to recreate this issue, and finally managed to reproduce the issue on a new test site, only on the initial visit – all subsequent visits worked. So I’m not really certain of the cause, but I have updated one of the javascript files on a hunch and if someone here is comfortable updating files via FTP, this could fix the issue.

    1. Confirm that you are using Ajax Event Calendar 1.0.1
    2. Download this file right click this link and select “Save Link As…” to Download
    3. Disable the calendar plugin
    4. Upload/Overwrite via ftp the jquery.init_admin_calendar.js file above and place it in the …/wp-content/plugins/ajax-event-calendar/js folder on your blog
    5. Restart the calendar plugin
    6. Test the form functionality – you may need to (press CTRL+F5 – to clear the browser cache) if it doesn’t work the first time.

Either way, let me know how it works for you.
If it works I’ll post a plugin update so that everyone using IE can benefit.

    Hi,

Thanks for the update Eran. I can also confirm that having seen the update for 1.0.2, I confirmed I was on 1.0.1 and that the issue was still there.
I then autoupdated to 1.0.2 and it is now working perfectly again.

    Thank you.

I can confirm that ver 1.0.2 fixed our problem with IE. Thank you for your help and prompt attention to this matter.
