   I have just installed 0.9.8.1 and I am not able to create events in the past. Yes I have unchecked "Enforce event creation between 30 minutes and one year from the current time."

   Thank you for the wonderful plugin.

   Try re-saving the settings, or resetting them, and then re-saving.

   I am tried many times and also tried with the latest beta version, still have problems in adding events from the past.

   I unchecked the proper checkbox.

   Yes the new version fixed the issue. I am able to create events from past now.
