WP 3.04 not working...shows page in calendar area? (4 posts)

    Has anyone had any luck running this with WP 3.04?

    There seems to be a funny bug where the whole wordpress index.php page gets inserted into the calendar area after you click a month name. The actual refreshed calendar is displayed underneath the incorrectly inserted index.php stuff. Screenshots are here in these links:

    Screen with AJAX Calendar included, Month name not clicked

    Screen after Month name in AJAX Calendar clicked (scrolled down a bit so header is not visible)

    This is running with EasyPHP 5.3.5

    I'd be interested to know if someone has seen this before and knows a patch or bug fix. I love this plugin to bits and it would be a shame to have to stop using it.

    cheers,

    Dan H. Blitzgigs.de.

    The plugin works fine with WP 3.0.4. I've never seen the problem you've demonstrated. Have you tried disabling other plugins?

    Hi John,

    thanks for the response. I cant replicate the issue any more, so I'm sorry for wasting your time and raising an unwarranted alarm.

    The only thing I changed between the malfunction and it now working was in trying to correct a permalink issue I was having with a custom post type, I added this code to functions.php:

    global $wp_rewrite;
    	$wp_rewrite->flush_rules();

    ...and refreshed/saved the permalink structure a few times. I not sure how/if it was related to the ajax calendar issue that I was having, but the calendar is working now, that's the main thing.

    I'm not running any other plugins to disable, this was a clean install I was playing with.

    Thanks and sorry for the alarm,

    Dan H.

    and to anyone reading this, don't add those lines of code to your functions.php file, it will stuff up your permalinks.
