[resolved] [Plugin: Advertising Manager] How to automatically position ads on desired pages (4 posts)

    Hi all,

Just installed this plugin but am not sure how to automatically position the ads.

i.e. I created an ad called "bottom of page". I don't want this ad to appear on my search results page, and on three other pages where the ads mess up my "print this page" feature.

So I set the author of these 4 pages to a different one from the rest of my posts and pages and filtered it out in the ad settings.

    But the ad appears nowhere.

I can't seem to find the options for setting the position, i.e. bottom left hand corner of pages or posts?

Do I need to manually paste the code into all the pages where I want the ad to appear? If so, what is the advantage of using this plugin?

    I'm confused.

OK, I see there's a drop down menu for inserting ads on individual pages and posts, but is there no way around going through 150 pages one by one to do this?

If I add code in the template, will the preferences (on pages to be excluded) override the template?

I haven't had much luck getting the ad to appear where I want it to by pasting code in the template....(followed the instructions in the tutorial but did not work for me).

I finally got it to work by pasting code in page and single post template files. The settings in Advertising Manager override where specified to exclude certain authors,

    So all is working well.

Thank you for this great plugin!
