• I just installed on WP 2.7 blog. Version is 3.3.10 download thru WP off WP.org site.

On the ‘Create Ad’ screen below cancel/import buttons, I have the following error showing – prior to actually doing anything at all (other than installing and clicking thru to this screen).

Fatal error: Cannot break/continue 1 level in /home/content/c/a/l/callingguides/html/wp-content/plugins/advertising-manager/class-admin.php on line 435

Unfortunately, I have no idea what this means or how to fix. Any suggestions?

    Thank you.

    WebBizGeek:

There was an error in this line. You can either download a new version of Advertising Manager, or remove the ‘break;’ (delete line 435, which has the ‘break;’).

This change has been made and checked in as well.

    Thanks for spotting

Ok, very good. Thank you for following up.

So I deleted ‘break;’ line you indicated – and now that error message has cleared.

However, there is still a problem: My theme editor is now not working. Specifically, I cannot open any file but the default .css file that opens when i go into the editor.

When I click to open another file, the page refreshes and appears to load, including switching over to the correct url, but the actual page content remains the same. It doesn’t change.

When I deactivate your module, the editor again works normally. I can open and edit any file.

Any suggestions why this might be? Thank you!

    WebBizGeek:

    Can you verify the following:
    1. Disable ‘Advertising Manager’ plug-in, and verify that your theme editor works.
    2. Enable ‘Advertising Manager’ (doing nothing between these two steps), and verify that the theme editor is broken.
    3. Send me your php error log file with the contents over the time period that you are performing these steps.
    4. Send me the contents of your javascript error log (in firefox, go to ‘Tools/Error Console’, and then hit ‘clear’. Reload the page which is broken, and then send me the contents of this window).

I will try to get it sorted for you ASAP. You can send this stuff to scott at switzer dot org. You can also skype me (username switzer) if you want to do this in real time.

    Cheers,
    Scott

Thank you for being so responsive. I appreciate it.

I can confirm steps 1 & 2 above. I closed and restarted browser to avoid some sort caching issue.

I do not know how to do step #3. Where is that log file located?

I will forward error log for #4 via email.

    Thanks again,
    John
