    Following the instructions in the readme i am trying to place an ad into the template using the code
    <?php advman_ad(top banner); ?>
    and all it does is generate an error page like
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home7/xxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/themes/garland-revisited/page.php on line 2

    I have tried this in the header, on the page, index and all generate the same thing.
    I have searched high and low for help on the error and most palces jsut state to make sure the semi-colon is in place (as ou see it is).

    If anyone knows, PlEase help. I am in urgent need of this as i just got offered a high profile advertiser on my site and want to make sure I can accomodate.

    Thanks.
