   Updated to 4.1 and now my customized excerpts don't display at all.

   Had to roll back to 3.1. What gives?

   Seems like I chose the wrong default parameter in the template function. It has been fixed in the development version (zip) and will be in the next update.

   In the mean time, you can pass false as the second parameter when using the_advanced_excerpt().
