I've got a page with no content, but instead with a custom excerpt that uses simple HTML and couple of shortcodes.
Is there a way to make the plugin work on custom excerpts?
At the moment it can do one of the following:
- page's content -> advanced excerpt returns a correct length snipped of content preserving shortcodes and HTML
- ignore its functionality and use a custom excerpt -> if an excerpt on a page is specified then advanced excerpt does nothing in favor of using the specified excerpt untouched.
In my case I have a custom excerpt with some HTML and shortcodes. I would like to preserve them and get the full length of my custom excerpt. Is there a way to do it?
It would be great to have that option as well :)
