I've just seen that if you extend the end date of an event after the event has expired it still says expired. Is there any way around this? (Other than to extend the end date earlier!!).

    Hi Nathan,

I am working on a fix for this within the pro version. Also looking into adding recurring events.

Great. I am almost certainly about to upgrade... just a bit more testing. I have a couple of other questions, I hope you don't mind me tagging it on to the end of this post...

I would really like is to be able to use tags inside my theme templates, like you have in case widgets aren't enabled. This is because I am setting up my events as posts and would like to be able to manage the sign-up. When I include the shortcode it appears before the_content(). Do you offer template tags?

Also, is there a way or interogating the data. For example look to see if an event's end date is today or is in the past?

    Thanks

Sorry. But I take it back, it is more serious than I thought. And I've just bought the pro version too. Some of the events that are on the site will run over a number of days (e.g. exhibitions) what seems to happen is that the event is classed as expired once we go past the start date. Am I doing it wrong?

    Hi Nathan,

I am going to add a switch to the plugin to show events that have gone past the start date when I get some time. You can modify the code in a couple of places so that events don't expire.

You can contact me via the support page of the plugin or my website if you need help fixing this.

I just upgraded to the Pro Version but I don't see an option for recurring events. In my organization I really only have 1 or 2 events on offer, but would like to offer them every weekday (nearly). Am I missing something? I also am using the Calendar plugin and I see an option for recurring events there, but I'm assuming that for payment purposes, each different date would require a separate ID within your plugin. Has anyone managed to sort this out??

I have been so busy updating both versions of the plugin that I have not had time to add the recurring events feature. I am focusing on the new calendar addition and recurring events this month. So hopefully I will have something to start testing around the end of the month, if everything goes well.
