Advanced Custom Fields
[resolved] Changing the look on the Page/Post entry page. (3 posts)

I would like to change the way the fields are displayed when you are adding or changing a Page/Post. Right now the label is displayed on one "line" and the field is displayed below the label on it's own "line". I would like to display the label and the field on the same line.

I've found the render_fields_for_input function in the acf.php file. I could alter this function but any updates will wipe out my changes. What's the best way to change the look of the fields on the page/post screen? Is there a hook I can add to render the labels/fields differently?

I haven't done it myself but I think what you are talking about is possible by using a hook, see: http://www.advancedcustomfields.com/docs/functions/hooks-filters/

Yep, you can use the acf_head-input action to add your own css/js
