    Hey there,

    So I just updated to WP 3.3 and I also updated to the latest version of ACF, and I ran into a little problem with the ACF WYSIWYG editor. I have an ACF set up to where someone can go in and implement code (HTML, CSS, etc) and then highlight the code via a TinyMCE button which normally displays via the WYSIWYG, but now the WYSIWYG simply looks like a normal text box, with a strange border around it. Anyone else running into this problem? My goal is to make the site I'm building as user friendly as possible, and without this editor and button option, I just got thrown a step back. Any help of fixes would be greatly appreciated!!

    Here is a screen shot of both the Basic and Full WYSIWYGs as currently displayed:

    Thanks!

    This still happens in the new update of ACF (3.0.4) too, unfortunately. The solution that was brought up on the plugin's forums does work, but only temporarily.

    See http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-advanced-custom-fields-wysiwyg-editor-does-not-work-in-wp-33?replies=3#post-2506035 for more on this bug and how it repeats itself.

    In my case, I do not see editor at all. I found out, that problem happens because ACF tries to use tinyMCE object before its creation.

    $(window).load(function(){
    // store variables
    /* tinyMCE object does not exist yet, which causes JS error */
    $.acf_wysiwyg_buttons.theme_advanced_buttons1 = tinyMCE.settings.theme_advanced_buttons1;
    $.acf_wysiwyg_buttons.theme_advanced_buttons2 = tinyMCE.settings.theme_advanced_buttons2;
    $('#poststuff').acf_activate_wysiwyg();
    });
