[resolved] Menu access restriction not working (5 posts)

I have a category tree structure as such:

    Deliverables
    -- Component 1
    ----Subcategory 1
    ----Subcategory 2
    -- Component 2

These are displayed as a menu on the front page (top level menu is "Deliverables"

In Advanced Access Manager, I go to the Posts & Pages tab,
I expand Posts, and click on Deliverables
    Current Role set to "_Visitor"
    Current User = "All Users"
I check "Restrict Admin" and "Restrict Front"
    I click "Update Current"
    I click "Save"

When I log out of my site and view the index as a visitor, the Deliverables menu still appears, although if I click any submenu, the page is restricted (as desired).

However I want this menu to not even show up, that is why I clicked "Restrict Front"... how do I keep the menu from displaying altogether for a visitor of the site?

    jdm,
    What is Deliverables?
Is that custom post type or page, or taxonomy?

    Regards,
    Vasyl

Deliverables is a category which contains sub categories. I want it to be a top level menu.

I afraid there is no possibility to hide taxonomy in the top menu. Currently AAM hides only Posts and Pages.
Probably in next releases I'll include the support and taxonomies in Menu.

    Vasyl

Cool, I am finding your plugin useful and just purchased the Advanced version - I can set up my site to use Pages instead of Taxonomies for now but would be a convenient feature to have!

Thanks Vasyl for your quick support
