[Plugin: Advanced Access Manager] Hiding features not working

Hi, I’m a little confused on this. I setup a custom role with the ability to edit/add/remove posts, and assigned a user to this role. I basically only want them to be able to edit a certain custom post type.

Anyways, under the Main Menu for this role, I select the boxes I want to restrict access to, but it doesn’t remove them. It’s almost like this Main Menu section doesn’t have any affect at all… whether things are checked or not, nothing seems to change.

What am I doing wrong?
