Advanced Access Manager
[resolved] After clicking OK - You do not have sufficient permissions to acce (5 posts)

I installed AAM. Went to the AAM screen after the initial install read the intro message. Clicked OK.

Now when going to AAM, I get the message "You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page."

There is nothing in the AAM error.log

I have checked my original user with another Admin profile. My original profile is still listed as Administrator.

I should note that I use:
    Dashboard Commander - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/dashboard-commander/
    User Role Editor - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/user-role-editor/
    Verve Meta Boxes - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/verve-meta-boxes/
    Role Scoper - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/role-scoper/

That being said, all of these plugins were deactivated before installing AAM.

I also should note that this site was created by copying the DB and files of another website and changing the relevant settings int he config.php. It was NOT created using the standard wordpress installation.

Any help would be appreciated, as it appears AAM can replace the 4 plugins I mentioned above.

I uninstalled AAM, then reinstalled it.

Checking the DB, it appears that no entries are being created after either installation or clicking OK, whichever is supposed to create the table.

I checked the DB after each step.

    Hi tpflanz,
The message "You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page." is not printed by AAM. It means your WordPress installation does not allow you to enter this page.
I'm curious what is the root cause of this issue.
Log out and login again. Probably there is some mess in user_roles settings now.
    Let me know the result.

    Regards,
    Vasyl

Thanks for the quick reply, Vasyl.

I uninstalled AAM. Logged out. Logged back in. Reinstalled AAM. Now everything seems to be working fine.

I will go through the options, then mark this issue as resolved if there are no other issues.

    tpflanz,
Appreciate your work. In two hours a new release is comming. I fixed few small bugs and introduced Frontend Widgets filtering under Metaboxes & Widgets.

    Have a good one.
    Regards,
    Vasyl
