   I could not enable some items for a new role. I setup a new role wth editor capabilities but could not activate everything in the 'appearance' menu including the 'suffusion options' item. I am using Suffusion 3.4.7. I did try to enter the suffusion page by hand which did give me the option but did not work.

   Hi raincity,
   You are not able to activate items under appearance because your editor's role does not have a proper set of capabilities.

   Thank you Vasyl for your help. Of course my next question would be how to allow administrators, under a WP 3.3.1 multi-site, to administer/edit the Suffusion template for that site?

   P.S. I did try the Advanced Access Manager plugin which did not work. I have used the Weaver theme which does allow the admin to update the template but Suffusion is a much better theme.

   Hi raincity,
   I believe the Suffusion Theme has some restrictions strictly hardcoded. And if it is multisite it will allow only for Super Admin edit theme.
   And as u understand - super admin can be only one.
   U can change Suffusion code manually. This is probably only one line of code somewhere. Ofcourse if u familiar with PHP.

   I was hoping someone had already figured this one out.
   I guess that I should look at the functions.php page.
