    Hi all,
Hoping for some feed back from the dev on this. I’m building a company intranet site and have different locations needing access to different pages. I noticed on your site you posted a feature that would filter nav items based on the user role in version 1.5. This would be a huge addition as I can’t find any plugins that would remove the blocked nav items by role. I did find a download link to 1.5 the dev posted in a forum thread. I set it up on a local testing version of the site. However ran into a lot of issues which is why I’m guess the dev reverted back to 1.4. Some questions regarding the future release as I’ve ended up staying with 1.4 for now.

When I installed 1.5, all my current users lost their roles. Is there a way to back that up or does that become a non issue if I had updated through the wp panel?

I purchased the category and extend limits plugs via paypal. However 1.5 the categories were pulling the post categories for the page categories. I’m guessing this is known and will hopefully be fixed?

Will the filter of the nav item filter the nav items automatically based on user role or am I understanding this wrong.

Also, any idea of how soon we would expect 1.5 and it’s features to be released?

Thanks for such a great plugin. This has been a huge help for my project.

  • Hi there,
Version 1.4 has all features you can find in 1.5 now and even more. I’m expecting to release 1.5 version in few weeks. It’ll have some small improvement regarding feedbacks from users and ability to edit menu labels.
    Regards,
    Vasyl
