hi just updated to most recent version as informed by plug-in manager - went to check settings and got an error message "you do not have sufficient privileges...". Went to plug-ins admin and AdSense Now had been disabled. Re-enabled it and it seems OK but disconcerted.

That is because he steals a percentage of you adsense revenue and he disabled the dashboard for you to disable it. I've removed it from all my blogs - suggest you do the same.

I usually research pretty well but since he was in the plugin listings I erroneously thought it was OK

There is no Adsense sharing of any kind in this plugin, or any other plugin of mine in this repository. About the most "offensive" thing I have is an invitation to upgrade to the Pro versions on the admin screens of some of my plugins.

Could you please point me to any page or code snippet that led you to believe that your AdSense earnings were being improperly shared? Thanks.
