    Hi all,
    I have the exact same error:

    Warning: is_readable() [function.is-readable]: open_basedir restriction in effect.     WP: 3.4.1
    MySite: http://www.bis4bit.it
    PHP: 5.2.17 in Fastcgi
    Win 2008 std
    Plesk 11

    Someone could help me ?
    Thanks

    see here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/problems-after-moving-wordpress-installation?replies=6

    but now, kill all files inside languages in the plugin folder, maybe its help.
    Its only important, it you will translate the plugin.

    I did a brand new install and im still getting the error. Moving an install has nothing to do with it.

    The problem is that the funktion plugin_basename() not correctly works on Windows systems. The drive letter is not in WP_PLUGIN_DIR but in the $file parameter. Than the complete path cames back and not only the plugin dir.
