Plugin Admin not saving Unicode characters….

I currently have a site in Russian. In the past, I have had no problems using plugins/widgets (sliders, sidebars etc.) and saving the data in Russian and having it show on the site.

However, I am trying to use a plugin slider called Easing Slider (Premium Version). Love the slider by the way (nice looking). However, at the point I save the data to the admin panel of the slider (slider title and description), it reverts the field information to ???? ?????.

I looked in my localized testing database and indeed those fields are showing as “???? ?????”. However, all my other information for the theme I am using and plugins are entered in Russian fine.

I was wondering if someone might point me in the direction to research how I might fix this. I find I am spinning my wheels as I don’t know exactly what to search on Google.

I have tried adding “<form action=”” method=”post” accept-charset=”UTF-8″>” the accept charest to the form of the admin panel of the plugin. I have also tried saving all the files to UTF-8 no BOM.

The plugin is built in Jquery. I would appreciate any ideas or direction.
