Move sub-menu item to top level? (4 posts)

I cannot figure out how to move a sub-menu item to the top level.

I have tried creating a custom link, then hiding the original, but I get a "You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page." error, even though the custom link has all the exact same options set as the original menu item.

    Please advise.

    Thanks in advance.

The only way I could figure out how to accomplish this was to add a new menu item to the top level menu and then copy the values from the submenu, then delete or hide the submenu.

This is a limitation of the older menu handling code used by the free version of the plugin. The Pro version actually lets you drag & drop a sub-menu to the top level.
