I am getting odd behavior at the end of each URL, I know the AddThis plugin is causing it because I deactivated each to detemine that.
The problem: a cryptic sting is added to my URLS with Add This on them,

Notice the: #.TotGIaj0Trc part
I think this is tracking, this is new with today's plugin update.

Do you have the "Track Address Bar Shares" checked in the Advanced tab of the AddThis plugin settings?

Yep, well done. That was the issue.
Had the same issue - thanks for clearing things up
What exactly does this tracking do? If you don't mind...

I also had the same issue and only noticed it today. Thought I had been hacked! Thanks for the note, Paul; it solved it.

Address bar tracking lets you know how many times people return to your site from folks copying the URL from the address bar and pasting it somewhere, such as email or IM conversations. We were surprised to discover that this is about ten times as many clicks as people who share to different services.

The thing is, whilst it may be a great tool, it looks incredibly unprofessional for website audiences. Personally I will be removing it until a better way is found to track this data.
