Can't delete plugin from dat (9 posts)

I installed this plugin and then deleted it since it wasn't what I needed. The problem is while the files on the server are gone, the plugin is still present - which leads me to assume the database entries weren't deleted. How do I easily get rid of the plugin entries from the database without having to go there and doing this manually?

frankly, I think I had to go into the database and clean up their database entries. I was running this on my local machine so I could easily go into the database...the plugin should have cleaned up for itself better.

Could you point me in the direction to go to do this?

frankly, I can't remember...I would download the plugin Portable PMA, activate it, then look through your options tables for any entries that looks like they are called twitter_facebook_share..and delete those..that's as best as I can recall...good luck.

well, I'd contact the people who made the plugin..it's really their responsibility to clean up their installation if you delete their plugin.
