How to allow subscribers to upload their own avatar?? (3 posts)

I am having problems allowing subscribers to upload their own avatar.

When a subscriber registers and goes into wp-admin they are not given the option to upload anything, even tho the title suggests you can.

The only way i have been able to upload an avatar for a subscriber is by logging in as Admin then assigning one to them

But ideally i want them to be able to upload their own from their own subscriber profile??

Is this possible, if so how?

    Cheers
    Paul

I love it how the authors make plugins than leave them fully unattended ...

If you login as admin and go to your dashboard (admin panel).

Under the section titled Users in the sidebar you will see Avatars (if you have the plugin installed), select it.

you should see a list of your users with their avatars and path to said avatar.

scroll down to the settings section below the list and look for a checkbox User Upload, check it, then in the line above enter the directory location where you want avatars saved when uploaded.

Now when users login to their profile there will be a line allowing them to upload an avatar
