This issue should be solved in version 1.120 of Add Link to Facebook. If you are using an older version, then please upgrade. Else, let me know, preferably with an example link.

Thanks for the quick reply. I’m running 1.122 right now and I just tested it.
If I like this post: http://www.mysteres-datelier.be/2011/12/12/maison-doiseaux-grand-luxe/
The entry on FB appears, with “& # 8217;”
If you would need more input, let me know. Easy solution would be of course to remove the hyphens in the title 🙂
I think I have found the problem.
Could you please try the development version to see if it is fixed?

I just followed the steps provided in the dev version. Removed the other version, installed the dev version and liked, unfortunately I’m still getting the same result though.
Can you send me the debug info as explained in the last question of the FAQ, just after you have added a post with a dash in the post title, please?

I’m trying to find this Resource panel so I can send you the debug info. I browsed all tabs of the plugin but I’m not finding it. As I installed this website for someone in French, do you think I should put it in English to find it?
Look at the top left …
It is yellowish.

It’s top right 🙂
I found it in the end, was looking in the tabs, but it’s indeed in a separate window. Sorry for that. Thanks again
I don’t see a dash in the post title:
[name] => RDV 11h tous les matins
Can you (re-)add a post with a dash in the title and send the debug info again, please?
(I know you were glad you found the debug info 😉

Added a new post to test it. Send you the debug info. Let me know when I can remove the post
Unfortunately this is a Facebook problem, which I cannot solve.
The plugin sends:
[name] => Test de l’appostrof
Correct, without HTML entity.
The Share URL on Facebook is:
http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mysteres-datelier.be%2F2011%2F12%2F12%2Ftest-de-lappostrof%2F&t=Test+de+l%E2%80%99appostrof&ref=nf
Which is also correct (the URL is encoded, but that is mandatory).
Only the share itself goes wrong:
Test de l’appostrof
You could file a bug report on Facebook, but know that the Share link is officially not supported.
Update: just for a better understanding the share URL decoded:
http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=http://www.mysteres-datelier.be/2011/12/12/test-de-lappostrof/&t=Test+de+l’appostrof&ref=nf

Ok, that’s what I thought. The thing is that in the end I like the post from the blog, don’t even share it. I will see if FB will want to analyze this.
Anyway, thank you for the great and quick feedback, I really appreciate the time and help.
Post can be closed for me, if I would get feedback from FB (you never know) I will update you, just as FYI
The development version contains fixes/workarounds for most situations now, see here for details.
