[Plugin: Add Link to Facebook] Intermittant cURL 7 error

    It has worked about 2 or 3 times out of the past 12 days. Have verified that cURL is working on my server. Also have a stack of error notices accumulating on my dashboard screen that I can’t get rid of.

    I can’t explain how it actually worked those times, yet I saw the links on my FB.

    Just reinstalled and nothing has changed except that today’s post, after reposting after reinstalling actually made an entry on FB and the error previously listed for today went away. Tried reposting the others that had errors but I didn’t have anymore success.

    cURL error 7 means ‘CURLE_COULDNT_CONNECT Failed to connect() to host or proxy’. I think your installation is okay, but the connection to the internet may not be. If updating the post doesn’t add a link and the error for the post doesn’t go away, you can follow the procedure in question E14 of the FAQ to get rid of the error.
