    See the FAQ, question E15 for the error message and question E19 for clearing errors.

    Thanks Marcel, I'm uncertain of the question ID but I was there and done that I'm pretty sure. That's where I got the info on reauthorising and whatnot. Still the errors are listed on the dashboard for four posts

    Hello!

    I have samekind of problem although not exactly. The error I get is: "Import comment: Error validating access token: Session has expired at unix time xxx current time is xxxyyy".

    I haven't changed my Facebook password. This problem appeared just recently and I haven't slightest idea where the error came from. I haven't made any changes to my Facebook account or app or to WordPress settings.

    Our site is http://www.goodkind.fi

    I appreciate if you have any advice how to move on.

    Thanks!

    - Jukka

    First of all try to authorize the plugin again by pressing the authorize button on the plugin settings page.

    I had the same problem with the UNIX time. I clicked the button to authorize again and got this error:

    cURL error 47: Array( [url] => http://www.facebook.com/unsupportedbrowser [content_type] => text/html; charset=utf-8 [http_code] => 302 [header_size] => 3101 [request_size] => 1141 [filetime] => -1 [ssl_verify_result] => 0 [redirect_count] => 10 [total_time] => 0.956379 [namelookup_time] => 2.7E-5 [connect_time] => 2.7E-5 [pretransfer_time] => 7.1E-5 [size_upload] => 0 [size_download] => 0 [speed_download] => 0 [speed_upload] => 0 [download_content_length] => 0 [upload_content_length] => 0 [starttransfer_time] => 0.053777 [redirect_time] => 0.902521)

    Did you already upgrade to the latest version of the plugin?
    This solved the problem for everybody so far.

    Yes, upgrading and re-authorizing worked great. Thanks for the prompt support and the great plugin.

    I had this problem as well, even though I hadn't changed the Facebook password. Re-authorizing made the error messages go away but they re-appeared after posting a link to Facebook, when someone commented on a link and at least once daily randomly. The update before the one today solved the problem but after updating today it is back again.

    In the discussion above have several different problems been reported, so what is exactly yours?

    cURL error 47?

    Error validating access token: The session has been invalidated because the user has changed the password?

    Error validating access token: Session has expired at unix time xxx current time is xxxyyy?

    That is why everybody should create his/her own discussion ...

    Sorry, the error I'm getting is "Error validating access token: The session has been invalidated because the user has changed the password"

    Normally you get this when changing your password, but in my experience also when something security related happened with your Facebook account. In any case seen from the plugin there is nothing that can be done, because this is happening on Facebook.

    Ok, maybe it's just a coincidence, strange though that two versions of the plugin generate error messages with every post and comment and another version never.

    Could it have something to do with multiple admins on the FB page? For example if some other admin changes the password for their account, which is connected to the FB page that posts the links from the website. Only I admin the FB app though.

    Everything works however, comments are being imported and so on. Just irritating to get all the error messages. When triggered by a new post or comment there can be 5-10 error messages appearing, one for each of the most recent (usually) posts, even though nothing has been changed or updated on those links.

    You can always try an older version, but I doubt this problem is caused by the plugin.

    No idea.

    That surprises me, because an access token is required to communicate with Facebook.

    All my posts are showing...

    ==========================================================================
    Add Link to Facebook - "POST TITLE": Import comment: Facebook error: Error validating access token: The session has been invalidated because the user has changed the password. @ 2012-07-06T00:46:30+01:00
    ==========================================================================

    The timestamp is just one from the particular error message I posted. I did not change my password, and I do NOT have the integrate comments from facebook ticked in the master settings, I even go as far as ticking "do not integrate facebook comments" as I post published!!!

    Is there any way to bulk clear all error messages? I do not want to have to edit and update every single post!

    Kind Regards
    Dan.
