I might be completely missing something, but is there an option for publishing the Facebook photos into the comments section as "pseudo-gravatars"? I see the photos in the admin section and would love to have them appear on the blog itself...

I don't see this mentioned in the FAQ and haven't found an option (yet) of doing this...

    Thanks - love the plugin!

I am not sure if I understand what you exactly want, but I guess you want to set the option 'Link Facebook comment to' to 'Profile author' (the default). If your theme supports it, the Facebook avatars of the comment authors on Facebook will be shown for each comment imported from Facebook. If it doesn't work, try switching to the default theme (Twenty Ten or Eleven) to see if the theme support is the problem or not.

Oh man... that's exactly what I was looking for. I knew it had to be possible... can't even believe before and after it the option says "Disables displaying of Facebook avatars too".

I've looked for this option several times and never saw this.

I'll try it -- and definitely appreciate the theme tip!

Yes, in fact it's not working on my theme unless it doesn't add the avatar to old comments. I'll investigate... I'm using Thesis.

The avatars of old comments should update after you have changed this setting.

Ok. Good to know... I have WP set to display blank avatars by default so they're activated and should display.

I'm using W3TotalCache too though -- maybe I was seeing cached pages. Will look into that.

I'll investigate more -- maybe I can steal a line of code from the default theme if I have to.

    Appreciate your help!

All what is needed is a call to get_avatar from the theme to make it working.
