Plugin Activation Problem (4 posts)

Previously I was able to add plugins to the folder and edit them fine after chmodding the plugins.

Then I added smileys . (that worked fine) . The last thing I did before the plugins stopped working was change the code in the admin functions file so the quicktags can show in safari. The code I used then I used on my old server and it worked well and didn't effect the plugins at all.

My problem now is whenever I try to added or activate any plugins it goes to a white page and doesn't work. It goes for all of them even when I reupload them and the whole folder in general.

    Any help? Thanks.

I have the same problem. I installed WordPress only recently. With prior installations it worked fine, but on this website whenever i upload a plugin and try to activate it, everything goes blank - the site, the admin, everything.

I tried several different plugins. When I delete the plugin from the server all goes to normal.

    Anyone, help please??

check your error log. Usually found through cpanel... or sometimes in your public_html dir
