[Plugin: Absolute Privacy] with Simple:press - Unapproved members in memberlist (3 posts)

    That's it really.
When a new user registers on the site through wordpress with the absolute privacy plugin, they don't have access to the forum until their registration is approved by the moderator. However, they appear as a new member (with member profile) in the forum straight away before they have been approved.
Anyone else had this? or know of a solution / alternative?
    Thanks!

You'd probably need to contact the Simple:Press people about this. Basically the Unapproved user is just a new user role that Absolute Privacy adds. Simple:Press sees a new user and lists them, but because they don't have any privileges on WordPress, they can't do anything. Simple:Press probably needs some kind of update that forces it to look at new user's privileges, and if they don't have any, to not list them as a new user. Or it could be made to recognize the Unapproved user as not being a real user, and therefore not list them as new.

    Thanks for the reply.
I did contact them - They said it's an absolute privacy issue!
It actually happens with wishlist member as well if that's of use to anyone.
Please post, anyone, if you have a work around.
