   AP version 1.3 with WP 3.0.1

   This happens a lot. A new user registers, and is then returned to the login page. Above the login form there is a message whch *most* of them don't notice: 'Registration complete. Please check your email'.

   This is a significant usability failure, as the business of a login page is plainly to log in - and if new users may not log in, they should not be returned to the login page.

   So -- can anyone suggest a remedy that is compatible with AP?

   Ideally, after registration users should be returned to an arbitrary page specified by site admin.

   Alternatively, the message 'Registration complete. Please check your email' should be replaced by something like this: 'Your registration is complete, but you cannot login until you have been approved as a new user on the website. Please check your email inbox for further instructions.'

   Well when they register there is a big notice saying they must be approved first, but I can see where the confusion would be. I'll look into updating the message to be more clear.
