There seemed to be an security issue with this plugin 2 years ago. But there was supposed to be patched. But here it says it has not been updated for over 2 years. So is this version save now or not?

The security issue was patched, the repository is merely hiccuping on the updated date.

If you look at the right sidebar you see the last updated date claims to be back in 2010. But if you take a look instead at the actual revision log, you’ll see that the latest version (2.0.7) was updated in March of 2012.

Ist does not work though. I installed and activated it, but the website is still visible to everybody…
