   my main problems with 404 are search pages that dont exist, created by spammers. i havent found a plugin to handle these yet.
   is it possible to make this plugin work for searches?

   Can you give me an example of a search page that doesn't exist? Are you talking about searches that have no results?

   example:
   http://gnetwork.com.au/search/doesntexist

   Google Webmaster Tools describes these as "Soft 404s"

   ok.. so searches with no results. What do you want to do with them? Redirect them to another page? I can probably make the system capture searches that don't have any results and allow for a redirect.

   yes, a redirect to homepage would be great.
