This keeps showing up when I try to search for a pluggin or update a pluggin.

Your hosting server is not configured to have DNS setup or is running behind a firewall. Talk to your host, or get a new host.

It most be something else because I run two of my sites with Word Press. The other site is working fine, and I can load pluggins. I use the same hosting company Hostgator. So could you please give me another solution. I loaded several pluggins over the week end with no problem. This message started appearing a few days ago.

Actually, I wasn’t “guessing” or anything. That is the answer.

Hosting companies use more than one server and those servers can have different configurations. Thus, the fact that “one site works” doesn’t actually matter too much.

You need to talk to your hosting company about the issue. Only they can correct the problem.

Ok I am contacting them right now. Thank You very much

OK I did talk to the hosting company, and they referred me back to the word press site section that involved re-installing the site. I ended up having to download my site content to a MySQL back up. I also exported a file to my computer from word press tools. Then I deactivated all the plugins and re-installed word press, re activated plugins, up loaded file from my computer. The system is working fine now. The hosting company did say I was the second person they had spoke today that ran into that problem. It had something to do with one of the plugins that I loaded that was not compatiably with the system.
