hi, i had great success setting up my new wordpress blog. It was almost too easy. So i got confident and started adding plugins. I thought the phases of the moon one would be fun, stuck that in, activated it... nothing. I would love it for people to be able to follow me so I added a subscribe widget too. That didn't show up either.
Can someone tell me how to trouble shoot this? I have clicked on every possible button and it says on my dashboard that these (and others) are activated.

i have been able to get some of the to work using the widgets menu.
I'll keep working on the subscribe widget it is most stubborn in not working

yeah, many plugins (which have display output on the site) requie widgets to be activated somewhere on the page.
In fact, the number of widget areas and options heavily influenced my theme choices.
For a particualr plug-in, you might need to start a specific thread, in the plugin forum, with specific examples of what is not working.
