   I have RS (current version) installed and have recently bought and installed the commercial version of User Messages (ver 2.6.0). If I have both plug-ins activated at once, User Messages will not function - that is to say, I cannot message my users, either singly or in groups - the location on-screen where these options should be is just blank. De-activating RS restores full functionality to User Messages. I suspect a javascript error somewhere, but my knowledge is a bit limited...

   Since I really need the functions that both these plug-ins provide on my site, I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem and, if so, if there is a work-around?

   I'm not seeing any conflict with User Messages 1.2.4. The Messages metabox shows on my Contributor's dashboard with message from Administrator.

   Maybe you're running out of PHP memory.

   Kevin - thanks, I think you are right. I've got my host looking at it now, as I've started getting those good old "Fatal error: Out of memory..." messages WordPress seems to love so much, seemingly more or less at random. I'll post back if I/they find a solution, in case it helps anyone else, sometime.
