  • doesnt seem to work for wordpress 3.1 and 3.1.2 it gives a error like this:
Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘turism_init’ not found or invalid function name in \wp-includes\plugin.php on line 395

Thank you for your reply. I will fix it later on today.

    Hi there!
Thank you fot the nice plugin. Worked to me like a charm, except for editing categories with images.
Let’s say i edit a category. Add an image via browse button and add some data to my fields. That is working Ok.
Then, i want to edit some of my data fields (but leave the image). When i actually edit the category, the image i uploaded the first time would dissapear.
I don’t if you could try to reproduce it…
    Thank you in advance…

    Hi.
I will try to fix the issue until tomorrow. Thank you for your feedback.

    Hi,
    Thank you, i appreciate that…
    i’ll stay tunned

I was also going to give the same feedback, that images get deleted if you don’t upload them again when submitting the form.

Presume you’ll either fix the code to check if no file is queued for upload, then don’t delete the old one.
However, I’d recommend re-using the WP media uploader, so you can re-use uploaded images, and get all the other benefits of the WP media management system already build.

See this post (and referenced post) for details:

Hi guys and thank you for your feedback. I have made the changes and please update your version of the plug in.

    Hi, really useful plugin!
unfortunately i have some issues with wordpress 3.1.3.
Form fields appears correctly but after saving the are still blank.
at the beginning i thought that was caused by a incompatibility with qTranslate but I’ve tried do deactivate it and still nothing…
    i’ll stay tunned 🙂

that worked for me, though the plugin version still showed v1.0, so didn’t show as an update…

However, the Category Settings page is now broken (the left nav of the admin area loads, but no HTML after that, and no useful PHP errors that I can spot.

Also, pages/ccf_settings.php has a mistype “lable” in the HTML at line 53

    sorry, more bugs:

    – If I create a text field, I can’t save/update values
    – categoryCustomFields.php has a typo on l.74: widht

    Please try the version 1.2

Thanks for the fix – 1.2 is now allowing me to save/update text values, as well as image values.

The Category Settings page is still blank (PHP error?), meaning I can’t edit the custom fields.

Very strange. Can I see the logs or something? I think it is a conflict with some other plug in you have.

    Hi alicornea!
Thank you for the fixing. Works like a charm to me right now.
    Thank you again…
