   I developed a wordpress site and then needed to transfer it to a different URL on the same server with the same hosting firm.
   I've changed the URL in the settings and the uploads folder. There was no need to change the MySQL database as it's with the same hosting firm.

   The site works absolutely fine except for the 'simple hit counter'. It has stopped working since I changed the URL. I have tried reinstalling it but it still doesn't work. It's showing as activated but it doesn't work. I'm guessing it has something to do with maybe still referencing the old URL either in the wordpress files or on the database, but I can't find anything that looks as though it needs to be changed.

   Any help to fix this would be much appreciated.
