Please Update your Migration Information

I wanted to copy my entire wordpress blog to a new web site (on the same server), but a different domain name.

I checked your docs and you give a procedure to go into the database and do a search & replace on all the instances of your old domain name and replace them with the new domain name.

However, that’s not going to work, because the old domain name is mentioned in many of the posts and comments.

You really should have documentation that tells us EXACTLY WHERE these changes need to be made.

The only thing you mention along these lines are to go into the wp_options table and make the changes there. However, that doesn’t do the trick – entirely. The site still redirects to the old domain for logins & all links.
