• Hi,

I’ve been working with multiple Multisite-installations where Authors need to embed Office docs from Skydrive using <iframe>s. This can’t be done without giving ‘unfiltered_html’ cap to Authors.

Now that you have deprecated said capability, it makes my life a little bit harder. I also use the Unfiltered MU plugin, but that doesn’t cover Authors.

    So please, undeprecate ‘unfiltered_html’ cap.

I’m sorry, it seems that I can set the deprecated abilities to be shown by default from User Role Editor’s network settings. So that helps.

Anyway, I don’t know how this ‘unfiltered_html’ cap is deprecated when it clearly is needed.

    Hi,

Moving ‘unfiltered_html’ to ‘deprecated’ list for multisite, I just followed to the WP core code, where it is blocked, even if user has it.

Turning it on should not take effect. More details are here

    Regards,
    Vladimir.

I understand your reasons, Vladimir, and I have read the link. I haven’t had the time to take a look at the code but I know (and you can test) that the cap does take effect.

Eg. without the cap, authors <iframe> tags got filtered out. With the cap, the tags stayed.

OK. I will re-check this. May be something was changed from that time.
