Please Suggest me an plugin

i am using a plugin called “wp events calendar” which is no longer been supported on http://www.lionskampura.in .

As per my client, he now wants an picture slider in the home page. i tried almost 15 different slider plugins. none worked as the js of wp events calender donot allow sliders js to work.

could anyone please help me to find an alternate calender plugin, which could just show birthdays and anniversaries.
