This is unlikely to be changed as the design change was intentional for the MP6 world. Is there a reason you think it needs to be reverted? After 3 releases like this, it’s pretty well familiar.

Current design makes a conflict of visual perception, visual sensation. Design must be intuitive. User should not turn on the brain. White color working fine on new admin design, on all pages excerpt plugins page. For example, white blocks on dashboard says to users: “Аttention to me!”. Darker colors working as background. On plugins page white color have to say: “I am turned on! I am active! I am working!”. But in current design this message working for inactive plugins. And І must to peer, I have to think about which of plugins is active.

This was a conscious decision coming from MP6:

I think the idea is to use white as a default/background color, and any other color is meant to bring attention to it.

Іn my opinion, reversing of colors it is a mistake.
So, it is you decision 🙂

I’m marking this resolved as it was a design choice, it’s intentional, and it’s not a bug. You can make an admin theme to change it if you want for yourself.
