   Just upgraded to 3.3 - now, the left hand menu items (pages, etc) auto-collapse when you click on another one, where previously, when you dropped down "pages" - it stayed dropped down.

   As someone who works on WordPress sites all day long, I'm BEGGING you - please shut this off. It might sound trivial, but when I drop "pages" down - I want it to STAY dropped down, even when I drop down the posts area - I don't want to roll over and fly out each and every time. I don't want to drop-down every time.

   I just want it to stay where I left it.

   Please?

   Pretty please?

   I cannot agree more...this is a HUGE deal and makes site admin navigation much more difficult.

   Well - I found another post here with the same complaint... and this plug-in as a solution:

   http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/expanded-admin-menus/

   Works like a charm.

   Installing it now, thanks :)

   Sad that they didn't even make it an option in the update though. Just changing stuff willy-nilly seems silly.

   I really like the new feature, but giving people the option between the two would probably be best I think.

   I still don't like that it's browser specific instead of just a setting for my wordpress site admin menu, but it'll have to do.
