In the detailed section of the 5-step upgrade procedure, after telling us in step #7 NOT to delete "wp-content", "wp-config.php", etc., in step #8 it tells up to upload the new files. But the upload is going to overwrite old files of the same name. So, how do I properly handle this?
wp-config.php doesn't exist in the files you downloaded (back it up though).
Just don't upload the wp-content folder... although this wouldn't even be a problem unless you're using a modified version of the default or classic theme.

Goodness. I figured it out by myself. All I had to do was just read further down the instructions. LOL That was the easiest thing I have ever done. Super Success! Not one issue. Thanks for your reply though. Smiles. Have a good day.

P.S. I have tried 5 times to mark this Resolved, but it's not working.
